On this website you will find an overview of the ceramic objects I have created over the years. In addition you will find information on the exhibitions where my ceramic objects will be shown.
My work
My work consists of abstract and geometric forms. These are made by hand in a months-long process. The rolls of clay are built up in such a way that they form a geometric interplay. In this process, I am often challenged how far I can go with the clay. All art objects are unique.
My works look light and airy as openwork lace and it is a unique technique that I have made my own. The works are finished with porcelain sludge. This is done in such a way as to create a rough finish that enhances the shapes.
I mainly use calm colours such as black, white and terracotta. Colours that I develop myself, so that I determine the look of my works from start to finish.
